Very Rare Colombo Late 1910’s – Early 1920’s 585/14K Gold wristwatch. Colombo was a trademark of Ditisheim’s Vulcain watches company. Inscription on the case reads ‘Fabrique Colombo Chaux de Fonds Suisse. Medailles Aux Expositions Paris 1889 Chicago 1893 Geneve 1896’. Ref: 151310. Mechanism Type: Manual Winding. Cal: Vulcain (?). Weight: 16.23 gram. Diameter (without crown): 28 mm. Height: 11 mm. Lug-to-lug distance: 8 mm. Condition: Decent visual condition for its age. All the hallmarks and inscriptions are visible. Matching case numbers. The watch requires a new balance. As seen in the photos. Watch is not ticking at present.
